The AIESEC Experience
The AIESEC Experience is a self driven, leadership devel-opment experience that AIESEC wants it membership to go through. It is an ideal learning process that an individual can go through in AIESEC and consists of 5 elements, each of which have been described as follows

Introduction to AIESEC:
When individuals join the organization in whatever capacity, they are introduced to the organization through the medium of induction seminars. Along side, the are a part of goal setting and expectation setting exercises so as to align personal goals with that of the organizational goals.

All recruited individuals participate in a series of events and activities that instills a clear understanding of the organization and its purpose of existence.

Taking Responsibilities:
Once the individuals have been introduced to the organization and have found their alignment to the identity of AIESEC, they then move on to the Taking Responsibilities stage where they gain experiences around being part of teams, working with different kinds of people and several other key aspects essential for their own development and learning in the organization.

Exchange:
After having taken responsibility within the organization, individuals can move on to experience one of the finest elements of the AIESEC experience The International Traineeship Exchange Programme. This is a package of professional, cultural and personally challenging experiences through which individuals can explore and understand opportunities abroad outside of their own native lands. A self reflective period where individuals are truly challenged and learn through the differences in their surroundings so as to better appreciate global diversity.

Leadership Role:
Members may reach this stage pre or post the exchange stage . In this stage, individuals get the opportunity to experience a leadership role in different capacities wherein they can either be heading projects, or exchange based teams, or could head a local chapter, national chapter. The option of being part of an international leadership team also exists during this stage. At various forefronts and in various capacities individuals are encourage to take on this role and evolve further thereby taking their own learning curves to a higher level.

Heading for the future:
This is the stage when individuals have completed all the preceding levels of the experience and wish to move on. AIESEC provides different lucrative opportunities for it's alumni to be involved with partner organizations that support AIESEC and secure positions post their AIESEC experience. In additional to the same, AIESEC also provides several other platforms for it's alumni to stay connected with the organization.
