With over 50 % of the pandemic affecting the youth, the India HIV/AIDS Genesis Initiative group has a vision of creating young leaders in the issue to address the challenges ahead.
Most of the existing projects focus on creating Peer Educators amongst the youth. AIESEC India is aiming towards working with 6 other countries within our network and partnerships with more youth led movements across the country.

3 Year Vision of Hiv/Aids Learning Network 2006-2009

» To have impacted _150_ individuals who are on an Exchange experience in and out of India
» To increase the Awareness about the issue and prevention amongst_3000_AIESEC members in 14 cities
» To Develop_100_trained peer educators amongst our network of cities who in turn spread awareness amongst their groups of friends, schools and colleges
» To get our Corporate Stakeholder to take part in our education, awareness activities and link the NGO's working int his field with the corporate's to maximize impact
» To work with minimum_15_other countries in our network, exchanging members who are interested in creating an impact in the issue in their country |

International Internships:AIESEC Pune is currently in their 2nd Phase of the project and has created the maximum experiences around the issue. AIESEC Hyderabad has started a unique 4 Phase Project based on Exchange to facilitate 40 exchange experiences.
Conferences and Seminars:Two learning activities at our national conferences and 8 locally activities have taken place this year.
Local Discussion Groups:Part of the Structured Learning Process of each project based on exchange at a local level. |

World AIDS Conference 2006
AIESEC India got the opportunity to participate in the world's largest AIDS Conference and present our views on how we create change agents in the issue.
